The Department of Health receives a large amount of correspondence every day.

Although we aim to answer everything we receive, we are unable to provide a response if your correspondence:

• asks questions about topics significantly beyond the Department's remit
• contains offensive language
• is illegible or cannot be read
• is selling or promoting a product

If you want to include a file attachment with your request, the maximum individual file size is 4 megabytes.
A maximum of 10 megabytes for the total size of all files is allowed.
Please also note that the following maximum lengths are allowed:

• first name : 50 characters
• surname : 100 characters
• email address : 250 characters
